How To Eat a Thanksgiving Meal at Disneyland

Got your stretchy pants on? People, this is not a drill. Thanksgiving Day is quickly approaching and we are super pumped for turkey, cranberry sauce, and all the fixings. The only thing that could make this holiday more exciting is a spin on the teacups and a stay at the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Good news: we’ve optimized a plan for you to enjoy both.

The Traditional Feast
Thanksgiving Disneyland Hotel
The Disneyland Hotel serves up the grandaddy of Thanksgiving meals.
Roast turkey. Check.
Prime rib of beef. Check.
Sweet potato souffle. Check.
Fountain made of chocolate. Triple check.

Only problem? You can’t take your five course meal with you in line at Space Mountain. Taking that into consideration, here’s the solution you need:

The Turkey Leg

Thanksgiving Turkey Leg
Do you smell what we smell? Yes it’s that amazing waft of smoked meat bigger than your wrist. Usually found in Frontierland (always found in our belly), this is the Thanksgiving-on-the-go must have.

The Turkey Alternative
Thanksgiving Pork Shank
Marvel at the latest addition to Disneyland Park… the mighty BBQ Glazed Pork Shank. If you’re a fan of eating meat on a stick (that’s not turkey), this is the meal for you. Find it at Edelweiss Snacks near the Matterhorn. Thanks us later.

The Kids Alternative
Thanksgiving Pizza
You know what makes Thanksgiving dinner instantly better? Putting it on top of a pizza. Enjoy this slice topped with turkey and cranberries over at Red Rockett’s Pizza Port in Tomorrowland.

The Drink

Thanksgiving Starbucks
Pumpkin Spice Lattes are perfect for parade viewing on Main Street, U.S.A. Grab one at the Starbucks inside the Disneyland Market House or the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe at Disney California Adventure.

The Sides
Thanksgiving Flos
Fill up on roasted corn, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, and homemade rolls at Flo’s V8 Cafe. Warning: once you’ve finished your meal, you might want to wait 30 minutes before riding Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.

The Dessert
Thanksgiving Pumpkin Beingets
Move over pie, pumpkin beignets are now in season. Trust us, it’s worth the pilgrimage over to new Orleans Square for these fried, sugar dusted little beauts.

The Snack for Later
Thanksgiving Rice Krispie
Even if you’re stuffed to the gills, these Rice Krispies Turkey Legs are worth having just for the novelty factor alone.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
