If you’re anything like us, you scarf down your dinner like no one’s business to get to the one thing in life (besides Disney) that makes you truly content: DESSERT. So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that sugar is on our minds when it comes to delicious Disney dishes. We’ve summed up the best decadent delights from our favorite Disney films. Bon appétit!
7. Snow White’s Gooseberry Pie
We know it’s not exactly sanitary—seeing as how half of the forest is in the kitchen—but Snow White’s gooseberry pie looks DELICIOUS. Heck, even the raw dough looks to die for. Count us in for this scrumptious treat.
6. Ice Cream and Pie from Pleasure Island
What better way to please a group of juvenile mavericks than to feed them sugar? We can almost smell that succulent pie and taste the pink-colored ice cream. That chicken also looks pretty yum… but we’ll save that for a different article.
5. The “Be Our Guest” Feast
So. Many. Choices. Belle is a lucky woman. We have to say that the pudding does look a bit… well… plain, but that doesn’t mean it’s not delicious (which we’re sure it is). It’s not what’s on the outside of a dessert, but what’s on the inside that counts.
4. Tiana’s Powdered Sugar Beignets
Who DOESN’T like beignets? If you’ve never tried one, you must. Right now. Imagine biting into a warm, doughy, sugary, pastry with a deliciously smooth texture and a remarkably sweet smell. Now imagine all of that fried. Yeah. Tiana means business.
3. Pooh Bear’s Hunny
Winnie the Pooh certainly has a keen eye for a delicious snack, and what better sweet treat then some good old hunny? It’s sweet, sticky, and also has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Pooh Bear knows best! Fun fact: In ancient times, honey was said to have been used to treat wounds. The more you know.
2. Stitch’s Homemade Cake
Stitch really hit it out of the ballpark with this one. What a fabulous looking cake! No wonder Lilo gave him a round of applause—job well done! We like to imagine what the frosting on the side would taste like. We hope it’s yum, since frosting really makes or breaks a cake.
1. Wreck-it Ralph’s Cupcake Ensemble
Can we just take a moment to admire this magnificent work of art? Ralph is a lucky man—and this is one sticky situation we would love to be in. Our favorite part are the sprinkles adorning the frosting. The donut policemen look pretty delicious, as well. We would totally eat this outfit.
