I have an eight-year-old daughter who has special needs. Her first Disney trip was when she five, and she was a changed child. I wanted to take her to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but she hates when people touch her or to even have her hair brushed. Before we left for this trip, she asked if she could be made into a Princess, so I took a blind leap and booked an appointment. Because I didn’t know if she would go through with it, I wasn’t expecting much.
When we arrived I let them know my concerns, and they told me not to worry. When our Fairy Godmother Victoria came to get us, I couldn’t believe that my daughter went with her. She hopped right up in the chair and let her go to work. Victoria worked her magic and transformed her into a Princess. All the other Fairy Godmothers kept telling me that Victoria was the fastest and best one.
When my daughter walked out to show the rest of our party, I started sobbing. I never thought I would share that magic with my daughter and Disney made it happen. It is a day I will always remember!
