My four children and I are huge Disney fans and travel to Orlando at least twice a year to get our Disney “fix.” For each of my children’s sixteenth birthdays, I take them to a destination of their choice for some special one-on-one time with Mom. They can choose anywhere in the world – my older children each chose a destination in Europe. This year marked the sixteenth birthday of my youngest child and she chose to visit Disneyland Park in California because she wanted to see what the original Park was like.
I was apprehensive about just the two of us going to the Park (she and her siblings always have such fun together), and I was also afraid the size would disappoint her compared to the four Parks we are used to visiting. Well, I couldn’t have been happier with her choice! We had a wonderful time exploring all the amazing things in Disneyland as well as Disney California Adventure Park and spent such great quality time together. We discovered some new favorites (Indiana Jones Adventure, Radiator Springs Racers, California Screamin’, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure), and enjoyed comparing old favorites. It was such a memorable birthday for both of us … the Disney magic has us all enchanted!
