On my daughter Kate’s second trip to Disneyland Park (she was 4 1/2 at the time) we were walking down Main Street, trying to figure out where to go next. The parks were very crowded as it was nearing Christmastime. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a flash of a magenta and I quickly turned my head to see Aurora, Cinderella, and Snow White walking down Main Street heading toward Snow White’s Wishing Well. Kate saw them too and got very excited. There was only one thing to do — grab Kate’s hand and walk towards them so we could be first in line for pictures.
We got close behind them and starting following the ladies as they made their way to the Wishing Well. What happened next can only be described as magical. Aurora turned around, saw my very excited daughter, and asked “would you like to walk with us?” Speechless and wide-eyed, Kate could only nod her head yes. Aurora and Kate preceded to walk hand in hand across Main Street and over to the Wishing Well, while Snow White and Cinderella made her feel like royalty. Kate was absolutely enchanted. We got some priceless pictures and some autographs and had to pry her away so that the next excited little girl could have her turn!
It was a day that none of us will soon forget. It was just one of many times we have experienced Disney magic!
