1) D – Powhatan, John Smith, and John Ratcliffe were all inspired by real people, along with many of the other characters in the film. There’s no evidence that the real John Ratcliffe was such a rat as Governor Ratcliffe is, though.

2) B – Although we don’t know the exact date when Pocahontas was born, the film was released four hundred years after her birth, which was believe to had occured in 1595.

3) A – You’d think his pet might be a rodent or an English bulldog, but Ratcliffe actually favors Percy the pug.

4) B – Although all of the actresses named have done sterling work with Disney, it was Linda Hunt who lent her voice to Pocahontas’ wise guide.
