The result of imagining Tokyo and San Francisco blended together, San Fransokyo is a vibrant, colorful, high-tech city unlike any other. However, it’s actually not that far off from either of its inspirations, both of which are exciting destinations that millions of people visit each year. As part of their research, the art and design team from Big Hero 6 spent time in each city, getting familiar with what makes them unique so that they could imbue those attributes into the final film.
