Yesterday, families gathered for the world premiere of the latest Disneynature film Monkey Kingdom (in theaters April 17). Following the movie was a star-studded after-party all about green living, with the likes of Corey Fogelmanis (Girl Meets World), Melora Hardin (The Office), Sarah Wright (Marry Me), Hayley Orrantia (The Goldbergs), and more.
Just in time for Earth Day, kids got in touch with nature—playing with worms while learning about composting, decorating their own flower pots, and planting an herb garden that will be donated to a local charity. More eco-friendly activities included upcycling shampoo bottles and t-shirts into beautiful jewelry, and mixing up their very own all-purpose cleaner with scents like pear, parsley, and lavender. The best parts of the day? A make-your-own bedazzled wand station for blowing bubbles AND an organic cotton lounge where kids literally felt like they were on cloud nine.

Monkey Kingdom opens April 17. A percentage of the first week sales will be donated to Conservation International to help protect habitats across Indonesia, Cambodia, and Sri Lanka, benefitting hundreds of species and helping to protect fresh drinking water for local populations.
