Between three new nighttime spectaculars, sparkling decorations, and amazing surprises, Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration promises to be a wonderful commemoration of all things Disneyland. With all those new activities though, one is bound to work up an appetite. Lucky for us, Disneyland Resort revealed today that there will be plenty of new beverage and food options for the Diamond Celebration.
Starting on May 22, Disneyland Diamond Cupcakes will be available at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café. The lemon flavored cupcake represents the Victorian-era theme of Main Street U.S.A. The Disney California Adventure Diamond Cupcake will be available at the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café, and is an orange cake to represent the 1930s theme of Buena Vista Street.
There are also lots of new specialty drinks are also in the works to celebrate the 60th anniversary. You can find the Frozen Pomegranate Silver Sparkler from Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, a special Lucky Fortune Tea featuring mango and red passion fruit at the Lucky Fortune Cookery, Honey Bee Frozen Lemonade from Hungry Bear Restaurant and more.
And while you’re munching and sipping your way through the Diamond Celebration, be sure to keep an eye out for special new menu boards at select restaurant locations, celebrating the year each restaurant was established in the park. There will be new interactive technology tie-ins that will give guests access to new content from recipes to historical photos.
