Unleash Your Inner Hulk With Playmation’s Gamma Gear

In October, Disney and Hasbro unleashed Playmation, an incredible play experience that combines cutting-edge technology with the unlimited power of a child’s imagination. Combining wearable gear, a talking base, and a downloadable app, players can assume the role of an Avengers trainee, taking down all sorts of villainous foes (and teaming up with some of their favorite heroes). We have been playing with Playmation every step of the way, from the lavish unveiling to the release of each new additional component (we can’t say enough about the little robot that stalks around the room), and it’s been a total blast.

This week is the release of Gamma Gear, a whole new set of peripherals that allows kids to play as the Hulk— complete with Hulk hands and a whole set of new missions. We got to play with the new gear and we love it—it really does make you feel like the hulk, smashing, pounding, and picking up objects and throwing them at your (imaginary) adversaries. (At one point we did it and were informed that we had just hurled a tank; too cool.)

Playmation is the type of play experience that can grow and change and evolve, both thanks to the addition of new peripherals like Gamma Gear and through updates to the mobile app. In the video below, we try out the new gear and unleash our inner green guy.
