We’re going to start showing the Disney Princes some love with a Prince Spotlight Series. The first features one of our favorites, Prince Phillip.
Even at a young age, Prince Phillip had a great sense of humor. He’s all like, who is this baby exactly? Marriage? What?

When we meet Prince Phillip again (as a rather handsome adult), he is moseying through the forest with his awesome horse, Samson.

Samson is so great.
Phillip has a certain joie de vivre that we just adore.

Just look at him dance with this dad! How cute is this!
He does things like this.

No words.
He’s the type of person who is enchanted by the sound of someone singing (inevitable meet-cute coming!) and it’s so endearing.

Samson does not agree with the detour.
He also has a really poetic soul. He spends some time musing about how Aurora’s voice is “too beautiful to be real.”

(Cough: you’re too beautiful to be real, Phillip.)
He fights a dragon (and wins), so he’s even more perfect.

Philip is incredibly courageous.
He’s so charming when he actually meets Aurora that we can’t handle it.

He’s even an amazing dancer. Please dance with us in the woods.
Phillip’s super progressive for the 14th century. He’s going to marry who he wants to marry no matter what.

Lucky for everyone, it winds up being the right girl.
He wields an enchanted shield of virtue and a mighty sword of truth.

What could be more perfect than that?
Philip eventually reunites with the love of his life.

(And steals our hearts).
To summarize:

Swoon.
