The Perfect Hair of Disney Men: An Analysis

Being the die-hard Disney fans that we are, we decided it was time to conduct an important investigation into Disney princes and their magnificent manes. To put it simply, Disney princes have perfect hair. The following is an in-depth analysis of this obvious yet important concept:

1. Beast

Beast, from Beauty and the Beast, transforms back into a human .
Beast’s gorgeous hair looks great in all his forms. It’s long, luscious, and literally goes from wet to dry in no time!

2. John Smith

John Smith and Pocahontas gaze into each other's eyes as the windy blows through their hair.
Beyonce and her wind machine have nothing on John Smith’s beautiful blonde locks. His long and flowy hair doesn’t even get tangled when it’s windy. In short, it’s flawless.

3. Prince Eric

Prince Eric’s bright blue eyes and dark black hair are the genetic jackpot in our opinion. Not to mention his sophisticated, side-swept part that looks perfect from every angle.

4. Flynn Rider

Flynn Rider looks at Rapunzel with his smolder.
Flynn and his famous facial expression wouldn’t be nearly as smoldering without the perfectly positioned strands of hair that frame his face. It’s the ultimate swoon-inducing hairstyle.

5. Aladdin

Aladdin admits to Jasmine that he isn't actually a prince.
While some men dread having hat-hair, Aladdin doesn’t seem to mind it. Even after hours of keeping his hair cramped under a sweaty hat, it still maintains its body and volume. Not too shabby, if you’re into the messy look.

6. Prince Edward

Prince Edward, from Enchanted, is leaning over the top of NYC public bus after he just stabbed his sword through the top.
When it comes to perfect hair, Prince Edward’s strands definitely stand out. Whether wind blown or blow dried, parted on the side or styled down the middle, his voluminous brown tresses can do no wrong.

7. Shang

Not every guy can pull off a ponytail. But luckily Shang is not every guy. His tightly-pulled locks and sharp widows peak only add to his overall attractiveness.

8. Prince Naveen

We especially love the curly wisps that fall onto his forehead, and the way the color of his hair accentuates his eyes.

9. Prince Charming

10. Prince Phillip

Prince Phillip’s hair is the perfect blank slate for styling. All he needs is a bit of gel and some hairspray to create a cool and trendy coif.

11. The Prince

He might be the last on our list, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love the hair on the dreamy, original prince. His short, slightly layered hair really suits his sweet and sensitive personality.

And there you have it: the definitive list of our favorite Disney princes and their trim-endous tresses! Despite the varying length, color, and texture of hair amongst these men, one quality remains the same: it’s perfect. (And check out Disney Style’s article on Amazing Princess Hair Moments.)
