Jafar is the epitome of tall, dark, and sinister (thanks for the description, Genie). His evil brain knows no limits, and he’s one of the most intimidating and scary villains around. Here’s why:
He schemes. Angrily.

He’s simply ruthless. It’s not a positive quality, but it sure makes for a great film.

He’s incredibly persuasive. This is a great trait for a villain.

He looks fabulous on a horse. (Iago…not so much.)

He has great taste in jewelry.

He’s a master of disguise.

He’s just so perfectly dreadful.

Then there’s that giant terrifying snake thing he morphs into that we normally try to gloss over…

Also, him turning into a destroyer of worlds.

Still, we tell ourselves that there’s some good in there. Jafar does totally loves Iago (even though he pretends to not care).

He’ll probably redeem himself at some point, right? RIGHT? We’ll just keep on believing.
