We don’t know a lot about football, but we do know that there is much controversy and hoopla surrounding one thing: the touchdown dance. This art form may sometimes cross into “excessive celebration” territory, but generally, we find them excessively entertaining. Coincidentally, we also find Disney characters dancing very entertaining, and we think they could touchdown dance with the best of them. Here are some characters with moves fit for the end zone:
Pub Thug – Tangled

Look at that form. This Thug’s precision is a thing a beauty, and he’s already wearing a helmet.
Goofy – A Goofy Movie

We have almost no words to describe Goofy’s touchdown dance. This is probably the closest our list gets to “excessive celebration,” but isn’t it entertaining?
Kuzco – The Emperor’s New Groove

Not only are Kuzco’s steps perfectly synchronized, but he’s also a llama, so he gets extra points for effort. Or should he gets less points for having more feet? Somehow, we doubt Kuzco would be great at football–it’s a team sport–so this conversation (that we’re having with ourselves) might be moot.
Squishy – Monsters University

Squishy brings an auteur’s air to his touchdown dance. There’s drama, there’s joy, there’s anticipation and even a little anxiety. A roller coaster of emotions.
Roo – The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Roo wins cutest touchdown dance. (We know, we know. Football isn’t about cuteness, but come on. Look at this. How can you squeal with delight? HOW CAN YOU NOT SQUEAL?)
Timon – The Lion King

We’re not sure if costumes are allowed in football (we mean, besides uniforms) but if nothing else, this is an example of why they should not only be allowed, but encouraged.
Baloo – The Jungle Book

The ideal touchdown dance. Clearly.
Smee – Peter Pan

Something tells us Smee would be tackled mere seconds after this dance ended, if only because he’s kind of being a poor sport here. Bad form, Smee. Bad form.
