We all have certain milestones which we set as goals for ourselves; running a marathon, visiting every state in the country, you know, important things like that. Today we’re putting a Disney spin on what we hope to achieve in the coming years with a list of moments from Disney movies that have to happen to us at some point during our time on planet Earth. HAVE to. Join us as we wax poetic on some non-negotiable, but very silly, Disney life goals, won’t you?
1. Eating Five Dozen Eggs
2. Participating in an Aging-Up Montage
What if you could skip the actual process of aging in favor of a wonderful montage set to the musical stylings of Elton John? We have scientists working on this one right now. Stay tuned.
3. Having an Alien Friend
…And we’re holding out for one that enjoys Elvis. Never settle for anything less than your goals, dear readers.
4. Taking a Magic Carpet Ride
How else are we going to see the pyramids, the leaning tower, and fly with a gaggle of swans (?) all in one night? We’re busy people and this is going to really cut down on travel time for us.
5. Acquiring a Cat That Can See the Future
We will never tire, never wane, in our quest for a physic kitty.
6. Being a Mermaid for a Day
If Ariel got to be human, there has to be a spell that turns humans into mermaids. That’s just science. We vow you to today that we will find that spell and we will make it widely available so we can all experience perfect hair under the water, if only for a precious moment.
7. Being as Productive as Rapunzel in “When Will My Life Begin”
Imagine if instead of wasting hours on the internet, we did as much as Rapunzel does in the span of fifteen minutes. We would be better people. And have cookies to eat. Win win.
9. Having Our Closet Pick Out All Our Clothes
Picking out clothes takes us an embarrassing amount of time. That’s time we could be spending working on achieving our Disney life goals. Precious time. So we need a wardrobe that will simply pick out outfits for us. Hopefully the wardrobe could also talk and make puns. But we’re not crazy, so those things aren’t mandatory.
10. Immediately Being Fluent in Any Language
We would love to be able to speak more languages, as would many others. Instead of taking years to learn them, we want to seek out a tree that could teach us to listen with our hearts so we understood every language in one easy song.
11. Wishing For Love in a Wishing Well and Instantly Receiving it
Man, do we want to find true love. It’s so hard to find someone you’re compatible with these days, are we right? This is where the wishing well from Snow White comes into the picture. All we have to is wish into it (per Snow White’s directions) and upon lifting our heads once more, our prince will be waiting.
12. Having All the Work That You Need Done in One Rain Scene
In the space of one film frame the Pride Lands go from totally destroyed to their former glory. We could use that sort of magical rain our lives. If our car breaks down, if we get a bad haircut. The uses would be endless.
13. Swinging on a Ladder in a Bookstore
Obviously.
14. Making Small Mice Outfits That The Mice Love
Note that it’s not only important for us to make the small outfits, but that the mice are happy with them. That’s just the kind of stand up mice outfitters that we hope to be.
