There’s so much to love about this film: Mulan’s courage and strength, Mushu’s comic relief, Crickee’s cuteness, and everything about “I’ll Make a Man Out of You.” This film took five years, and over 700 hundred artists, animators, and technicians to complete. Today we hope to bring honor to them all by sharing 17 pieces of beautiful concept and visual development art from the film’s production with you. (Also it’s very important to point that out that we chose the pieces of art before we did the math on how many years it’s been since Mulan’s release, and the numbers ended up being the same, so this post is fated and we’re magical.) Try to get through the below gallery without wanting to watch Mulan. We dare you:
Do you remember the first time to saw Mulan? Tell us about it in the comments!
