When you’re a Disney fan, other Disney fans are the only people who can fully understand you. While some people might balk at your fervent belief in magic and propensity to cry when you hear the opening notes to “When You Wish Upon A Star,” your fellow Disney fans are right there crying with you and offering you one of their tissues. Here are a few more things only Disney fans understand:
1. What you will find at the address 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney.

You can also name every occupant of the fish tank therein.
2. A laugh is more powerful than a scream.

Like, literally power-ful.
3. No capes.

Ever. It doesn’t matter how trendy they get or how much the date is October 31.
4. Mandrills give the best advice.

Including, but not limited to, “I’m a baboon, and you’re not.”
5. Frying pans are not just for cooking.

They are also for liberating yourself.
6. Gloves are meaningful.

They can mean that you’re hiding something cool and powerful, or that you’re hiding something shady—depending on whether you’re Elsa or Hans.
7. It is extremely important that you take good care of your toys.

Don’t be a Sid.
8. “Punctual” is a romantic compliment.

If someone says that about you, it means they’re in deep, and also that they might have a genie friend.
9. Similarly, “I don’t deserve you” can be a sick burn when used properly.

Belle is our queen for many reasons, and one of them is her subtle clapbacks.
10. This is not a fork.

It’s a dinglehopper. There is no other truth.
11. This castle is so much more than a castle.

It’s nostalgia, exhilaration, and home.
Thanks for understanding us, Disney fans.
