A Day in the Life of a Disney Character

Disney characters, they’re just like us! They have hobbies! They eat food! They do things! When we are first introduced to our favorite Disney characters in their respective films, they are on the cusp of a great discovery or a grand change; an inciting incident destined to change their lives forever. But have you ever wondered what a typical day was like for them before all the madness? Or perhaps after? Well, wonder no longer! We’ve used our deduction and critical skills (thanks, SAT testing) to infer an answer.

7 a.m. – The usual morning lineup: Start on the chores and sweep ’til the floor’s all clean. Polish and wax, do laundry, and mop and shine up. Sweep again and again
7:15 a.m.– It’s like 7:15!!!!
7:16 a.m. – Read a book or maybe two or three
9:30 a.m. – Add a few new paintings to the gallery
10:00 a.m. – Play guitar and knit
11:30 a.m. – Cook
Noon – Lunch
1:00 p.m. – Puzzles, darts, and baking
2:00 p.m. – Paper mache
2:30 p.m. – A bit of ballet
2:45 p.m. – Chess
3 p.m. – Pottery
3:15 p.m. – Ventriloquism
3:30 p.m. – Candle-making
3:55 p.m. – Stretch
4:00 p.m. – Sketch
4:15 p.m. – Take a climb
4:30 p.m. – Sew a dress
(If there’s time to spare): Read a few more books, paint the walls some more
5 p.m.– Brush hair
6 p.m. – Brush hair some more
6:30 p.m. – Still brushing
7 p.m. – Wonder and wonder and wonder and wonder when life will begin
9:00 p.m. – Wonder one last time when life will begin
9:05 p.m. – Say goodnight to Pascal
9:10 p.m. – Go to sleep

8:05 a.m. – Walk by Belle with tray of bread and rolls. Hear Belle sing about the tray like always
8:06 a.m. – Say “Good morning, Belle!” right after Belle calls your town “poor and provincial”
8:06:30 a.m. – Ask Belle where she is off to
8:06:45 a.m. – Belle talks about a boring story she is reading
8:07 a.m. – Escape from the conversation by telling Marie to hurry up and get her baguettes
8:10 a.m. – Tell some more people “Bonjour” and ask them about their families and their wives
8:15 a.m. – Muse about how Belle is different from the rest of the town and nothing like the rest of the town
8:20 a.m. – Some woman calls your bread stale
8:25 a.m. – Crowd around Gaston as he declares that he will make Belle his wife
8:26 a.m. – Join with the rest of the town in the coordinated sing-a-long about how Belle is weird
8:27 a.m. – Watch Belle leave the town and Gaston climb a house to reach her
8:28 a.m. – Walk away just as Belle turns around. Marvel as, yet another day, she fails to realize that the whole town is talking smack about her
8:30 a.m. – Go back to the bakery
8:35 a.m. – Bake bread and rolls
7:30 p.m. – Go to town choir practice to prep for tomorrow’s performance.
8:30 p.m. – Hit the hay


8 a.m. – Wake up and admire your guns and your guns

3 p.m. – Turn the bear into a rug

5 p.m. – Hit the local bar
6 p.m. – LeFou sings to you about how great you are
7 p.m. – Play some chess
8 p.m. – Get in a brawl for the heck of it
9 p.m. – Enter an expectorating contest
9:30 p.m. – Kill the expectorating contest


8 a.m. – Do something
9 a.m. – Wonder what you were doing
10 a.m. – Do something else
11 a.m. – Wonder what that was
Noon – Do another thing
1 p.m. – Wonder what that other thing was
2 p.m. – Oh look, another thing to do!
3 p.m. – What was it again?
4 p.m. – Tell some fish about how you suffer from short-term memory loss
5 p.m. – Play tag with Chico
6 p.m. – Or was it Nemo … ?
7 p.m. – Tell Marlin to stop worrying and just keep swimming
8 p.m. – Do something else
8:30 p.m. – And another thing
2 a.m. – Realize it’s 2 a.m. and that you can’t remember what you did the entire day. Go to sleep

2:45 p.m. – Ask her if she wants to build a snowman in a funny voice
3 p.m. – Get dismissed by Elsa. Face the music. Your comedy is too high brow
4 p.m. – Pace the halls in sadness
6 p.m. – Eat dinner
7 p.m. – Run around the halls
8 p.m. – Go to sleep

Mr. Pricklepants

6:30 a.m. – Move underneath the bed to practice saying the word “theater” when Trixie and Buttercup inevitably start complaining about you saying the word “theater” over and over again
7:00 a.m. – Go to the mirror. Practice smiling and acting “normal”
7:30 a.m. – Tell the toys to get in formation. It’s T-minus 30 minutes to showtime
8:00 a.m. – Bonnie is awake. Lights, imaginary camera, act cool!
8:30 a.m. – Bonnie heads out for daycare and brings Woody along for the day. What a lucky toy
9:00 a.m. – Do some scene work with the peas in the pod
9:30 a.m. – Look up Marlon Brando on the internet and research method acting
Noon – Hear the door open. Bonnie is back from day care
12:15 p.m. – Bonnie’s friend makes a surprise appearance
12:16 p.m. – Have a brief moment of hyperventilation. This was not in the plans
12:17 p.m. – Remind yourself that you are a hedgehog wearing lederhosens. You are fabulous and no one can tell you otherwise
12:18 p.m. – Take three deep breaths, gain your composure
12:19 p.m. – Give the performance of a lifetime
3:00 p.m. – Success. Bonnie’s friend says she wants to come back for another playdate
3:05 p.m. – Bonnie gives you a hug. Who needs a statue of a golden man when you can get one of those
4:00 p.m. – Bonnie heads downstairs to say goodbye to her friend
5:05 p.m. – Gather the toys together. Give an acceptance speech
5:30 p.m. – Bonnie heads down for dinner
6:00 p.m. – Drink lemon water. Rest up for tomorrow’s performance
