As “millennial” becomes an increasingly popular (and widely disliked) term, more and more people are attempting to determine just what age groups fit into this generation. This is always tricky business, but young people like us are especially averse to being put in a box. But there’s at least one thing that unites this nebulous group of individuals: a universal love for Disney.
Here are 10 surefire signs that you’re a Disney millennial:
1. You’ve grown accustomed to putting a Disney movie on in the background while you do pretty much anything.
Homework, chores, cooking—everything is an opportunity to revisit a classic. We’re the masters of multitasking, and that means more quality time with Pocahontas.
2. You can easily binge-watch multiple movies in one sitting.
On those days when you’re not feeling super productive, it’s perfectly acceptable to sit on a couch, order delivery, and watch eight Disney movies in one go. Best of all, there are so many classics, this lazy weekend strategy never gets old.
3. You have your favorite straight-to-VHS sequel.
And you treasure that just as dearly as all of the originals. (Shout out to The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride.)
4. You’ve made an entire Spotify playlist devoted to your favorite Disney songs.
One of the advantages of this great digital landscape is our unparalleled access to libraries of music. So, naturally you’ve used that to assemble the Hercules soundtrack to be back-to-back with the tunes from Tarzan.
5. You’ve developed some royally high standards for a romantic partner.
I mean, if a potential significant other doesn’t measure up to the looks of Prince Eric or the smarts of Belle, will it really have a happy-ever-after? (Jk, it definitely can.)
6. You’re willing to go to a whole new world if it means an adventure.
We’ve got no problems leaving a place we called home for our entire childhood to pursue our dreams.
7. You played this game non-stop growing up.
And might just want to break it out right now.
8. Visiting the Disney Parks has become synonymous with the perfect Instagram.
You still have all your fond memories, and the attractions are just as magical. But, these days, it’s just not the same experience if you can’t capture it for all of your friends to see.
9. You’re still waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3.

Between the jokes you never noticed as a kid and the nostalgia that never gets old, classic Disney movies are a never-ending treasure trove of good feelings. Plus, the newest Disney films have easily become some of your favorites, and now that Lucasfilm and Marvel are part of the Disney family, there’s just no denying the magic.
