7 Disney Weddings We Want to Crash

There have been some epic wedding ceremonies over the course of Disney movie history. Sometimes we only get to see a glimpse of the ceremony and after-party of our favorite Disney couples, and we often wonder what it would be like to be there in person. Our imaginations have run wild considering all of the amazing characters we would get to celebrate with (and eat wedding cake with.) All of our Disney wedding crashing dreams would come true with this list:

  1. Ariel and Eric, The Little Mermaid

What could be better than the setting for this wedding? A ship, King Triton in attendance, other mer-people, magic, etc. The trick would be deciding whether we would watch the ceremony on the ship, or from the ocean. Either way it’s a win. We would also definitely like to mingle with Flounder and Scuttle at the reception—and give Max the dog a big hug.

This would literally be our face the entire time:

    Sebastian gets it.

  2. Gaston, Beauty and the Beast

Note that we did not list Belle here since obviously this wedding was planned and set up without her awareness. Thankfully, Belle declined Gaston’s offer and the wedding did not happen. However, we would like to attend this non-wedding just so we could see the look on Gaston’s face when he gets thrown out of Belle’s cottage.

Especially after he got his muddy feet all over Belle’s books:

    Ugh, Gaston.

  3. Roger and Anita, 101 Dalmatians

This was a simple wedding with not many people in attendance, so we wouldn’t want to disturb the peaceful ambiance by crashing the wedding fully. We would, however, like to quietly hang out and watch the ceremony through a window, like Pongo and Perdita do:

Actually, we’d like to hang out and watch Pongo and Perdita watching Roger and Anita and then cry happy, happy tears.

  4. Flynn and Rapunzel, Tangled Ever After

Not only is this ceremony gorgeous, but you know the after party would be so much fun. Perhaps even the best. Reception. Ever. How fun would it be to hang out with the Pub Thugs, Maximus, and Pascal? Maybe Vladimir would even share his collection of ceramic unicorns!

And of course, we would love to see the wedding day lanterns in person:

Sign us up for Pascal’s view of this amazing wedding.

  5. Tiana and Naveen, The Princess and the Frog

This is a two-part wedding and we would love to crash both. First, we’d love to be a fly (or lightning bug) on the wall of the beautiful forest wedding where Tiana and Naveen finally turn human again. Can you imagine seeing that in person? We would be cheering. A lot.

Part two is back in town where Tiana and Naveen have all of their friends in attendance. We would love to be standing outside of the church to see their grand exit:

And we couldn’t resist trying a few beignets at the reception!

  6. Cinderella and Prince Charming, Cinderella

This one’s a classic, so it’s a must see. Probably one of the most elaborate and famous Disney weddings, it would be an honor to crash this royal party. The moment we’d most like to see: when Cinderella and Prince Charming ride off in a carriage together:

We would be the ones running after the carriage and cheering and clapping until we couldn’t run anymore.

  7. Maid Marian and Robin Hood, Robin Hood

Look how adorable Robin Hood and Maid Marian are! We would love to party it up with all of the woodland animals in this tale. Take a look to the right of Maid Marian. Toby the Turtle is exactly how we would look the entire time. Grinning and overwhelmed with joy.

And how could we not want to see this amazing moment:

Crashing this wedding couldn’t be more perfect!

So many Disney weddings, so little time. We will be daydreaming about our Disney wedding crashing goals until further notice.
