We’ve all had those moments when we’re watching a Disney movie and we think to ourselves, “That is so beautiful.” If you’re like us, you then make a thousand wishes upon a star to one day be able to step into those scenes for real. Even if that wish doesn’t pan out, we can still stare at the gorgeous images and decorate our homes with them, because it makes us happy. Here are some of our very favorites. Prepare your eyes for true magnificence:
When we first saw this scene in Tangled, it took our breath away. And even though we’ve seen it many times since then, we are still amazed by the beautiful light and reflection in this frame.
2. One Hundred and One Dalmatians
You can pretty much pause during any moment of One Hundred and One Dalmatians and see a gorgeous scene. This scene in particular is one of our favorites, because of the symmetry between Pongo and Perdita in the window, and Roger and Anita getting married. And just look at the roses!
Again with the reflections and the flowers! Not only is this a touching scene between Mulan and her father, but this frame in particular tells a whole story without movement. It reminds us of Mulan looking at her reflection in the beginning movie, and of course, the moment when her father gave her encouragement on the same bench. This one’s definitely a framer.
4. The Princess and the Frog
BRB, going in search of a balcony view for wishing upon stars just like Tiana. The cityscape, the stars, the lights, and Tiana assure us that the story that’s about to unfold will be extraordinary.
5. The Lion King
“Everything the light touches” takes new meaning in this gorgeous frame from the beginning of The Lion King.
6. Beauty and the Beast
Roses + Beast’s castle + beautiful lighting peeking through the trees = vacation goals.
Before Jasmine ventured outside the palace, we first saw her in this beautiful courtyard. We love how the birdcage is framed to the left, symbolizing Jasmine feeling trapped. Luckily, she scales those palace walls and the rest is history!
8. Peter Pan
When it comes to views, Peter Pan has some of the best—especially when he’s flying above London and Never Land. How often do you see a ship flying in the air? Only in Never Land.
Baby Moana is just the cutest, and this frame of when she first meets the ocean is beautiful and chilling. The water looks like it could splash out of our screens!
10. Sleeping Beauty
We clearly love reflections, lighting, and symmetry based on this list, and this frame is no exception. We definitely feel like we’re walking once upon a dream when we look at it.
The combination of shadows and moonlight (and a little bit of magic) in this frame make it one of the most enchanting frames in Disney movie history.
12. The Little Mermaid
Speaking of moonlight, this frame from The Little Mermaid had us certain that Eric was going to “Kiss the Girl.” That is, before those rude eels showed up and ruined everything.
One word: epic.
Tundratown in Zootopia is a winter wonderland and we can’t take our eyes off it! If you look closely in this frame, you will see two elephants dressed as Anna and Elsa from Frozen, melting our frozen hearts.
15. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Talk about riding off into the sunset! This gorgeous frame assures us that happily ever after is ahead.
We hope these beautiful frames made your day, because compiling them brought us a whole lot of joy. What is your favorite eye-catching frame in a Disney movie? Tell us in the comments!
