Disney Characters Who Want it to Be Fall Already

As humans of planet earth, it is our duty to not only acknowledge the transition of summer into fall, but to also celebrate it with as many pumpkin-flavored things as we can find. That being said, it’s not just about the seasonal spice. We love how autumn encapsulates a feeling of change and of warmth, which is as appealing to us as it is to our favorite Disney characters. So as we inch closer and closer to September 22—the official first day of fall—let’s take a look at some Disney characters who are just like us and want it to be fall already:

Simba

Simba’s all about frolicking in the leaves, as evidenced by the leaf mane he sports while singing “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King.” We’d also like to note Simba’s goldenrod color palette, which really compliments the vibrant hues found throughout the autumn season.

This pumpkin from Cinderella

Although technically not a character, the pumpkin that transforms into Cinderella’s iconic carriage earns the honorary title of “Disney character” for this specific occasion. Because, is it really fall without a pumpkin? We don’t think so.

The Sanderson sisters

Because, obviously.

Ariel

Having lived under the sea her entire life, Ariel is a total stranger to the beauty of seasons, particularly autumn. This means she’s never enjoyed the feeling of being wrapped up in a knit cardigan, she’s never done any trick-or-treating, and she’s definitely never tried the delicious taste of pumpkin spice. Being the curious mermaid she is, we know Ariel would love experiencing all the activities us land walkers enjoy about fall.

Olaf

Who can forget the moment we learned about Olaf’s obsession with summer? Just wait until he hears about autumn with its cooler temperatures, gorgeous scenery, and overall sense of hygge (essentially, a Danish word for the feeling of coziness).

The Headless Horseman

It’s his one time to shine every year. Let him have this.

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet

This picture is an accurate depiction of what fall is like: the feeling of comfort that allows one to nod off and scarves, both of which are things Pooh and Piglet do very well.

Mickey and Minnie

As the hosts of the season’s most anticipated Halloween party, Mickey and Minnie are definitely all about that #AutumnLife.
