Well, brace yourself for another breathtaking journey because Pixar Animation Studios announced its first-ever virtual reality experience this morning, and the new trailer is on a whole other level:
Whoa, this is totally amazing. We’ve never been more alive journeying through the Land of the Dead—and we can’t imagine a better place to explore! This next-level VR experience will be available on Oculus Rift November 15 and Oculus Gear VR November 22—the same day as the film’s long-awaited U.S. release. It features social functionality using Facebook Connect so that you can explore the colorful wonderland of Coco—sprawling before your very eyes—with your Facebook friends if they have Oculus Rift.
This astonishing experience will be available for a sneak peek at the following events and locations:
- Día de los Muertos festivals in Los Angeles, New York City, Houston, Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio, Oakland and Chicago beginning Oct. 28
- Camp Flog Gnaw Music Festival in Los Angeles on Oct. 28-29
- Select Disney Stores and movie theaters nationwide through Nov. 22.
