The Many Voices And Questionable Australian Accents Of Alan Tudyk

We are excited to present you with the latest in our Oh My Accent series, this time with one of Disney’s MVPs, Alan Tudyk.

Alan has brought so many characters to life. He’s the voice behind the Duke of Weselton in Frozen (not to be confused with Duke Weaselton in Zootopia, also played by Alan), King Candy in Wreck-It-Ralph, K-2SO – the droid with perfect comedic timing – in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Alistair Krei in Big Hero 6 and, he even mastered clucking and misdirected pecks as Hei Hei in Moana.

While in our fair land, Alan undertook his biggest challenge yet – the Australian accent. Watch him struggle with laughter as he attempts some of his characters’ classic quotes as an Aussie.

Let us know in the comments how you think he did. Although we never thought it possible, after seeing this we are even bigger fans of Alan than before.

Alan was a guest of Supanova. You can catch him in the movies Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Moana, Wreck-It-Ralph, FrozenZootopia, and Big Hero 6 that are available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital.
