Groot turning on “Hooked on a Feeling” is one of the best moments in the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer, and not just because it’s the perfect backing track to Chris Pratt dramatically walking down a hallway, about 1:50 into it.
To us, the song perfectly represents the tone of the film: epic, fun, and ever-so-slightly wacky. It looks like YouTubers Chester See, Amy Pham, Bart Baker, Meekakitty, and Peter Gilroy agree, since they staged a flash mob to “Hooked on a Feeling” during the Maker party at VidCon.
