These soft, soothing songs make the perfect family dinner playlist on tonight’s episode of The Fosters. The family dinner opens with a song by Strand of Oaks, the folk project of musician Timothy Showalter. “Two Kids” features simple, stripped down acoustics and Showalter’s rich voice. Guitarist Adam Traum’s haunting melody “Boo” has a darker, sultry feel. Portland-based orchestral indie pop band The Cabin Project close out The Fosters with “The Odds,” a slow melodic song off their second album, Heliotrope.
