Tonight’s episode of Pretty Little Liars featured brand new music from two well-established indie acts. Electro-pop duo MS MR debuted a brand new song, “Cruel” off their highly-anticipated album “How Does It Feel.” The New York based two piece rose to indie fame with their singles “Hurricane” and “Fantasy,” which fueled a slew of infectious remixes that have kept the band relevant over the past two years as they toured and worked on the new album. Sugar & The Hi Lows made their PLL premiere in a timely fashion: Today also marks the day of the release of their album “High Roller.” The new album has received praise from Paste Magazine and The Huffington Post, the latter of which premiered “The Right Time To Tell You” today. Regarding the song, singer Amy Stroup said, “I think a lot of people relate to it because a lot of people have been there, on the hinge of—you’ve got to talk to someone; can you communicate that or is better not to say anything? I feel like I go through that almost weekly with people, from little situations to big situations.”
