This week’s music selections on Pretty Little Liars span the spectrum, from sleepy dream pop to Grace Potter-esque bluesy rock from DOROTHY. Montreal-based band Secret Sun’s song “Cold Coast” was a standout, with sparkling 80’s synths and lazy, melancholy vocals from Anne-Marie Campbell. Coincidentally, the music video for “Cold Coast” comes out tomorrow—from the artsy photo the band shared on their Facebook page, we have a feeling it will be a treat. Saint Motel has been on the come up for the past year, due in part to the popularity of their song “Ace In The Hole”. The LA-based band’s jazzy sound draws similarities to groups of eras past, which they seamlessly integrate with touches of electronic flair. They’ll be supporting Walk the Moon at Central Park Summerstage in September: Can we expect to hear an epic rendition of “Shut Up And Dance” from the two bands?
