Presenting 23 of the best things that happened on the first day of the D23 Expo!

2. Bill Hader dressed up as a sea cucumber.
3. Bob Iger posed with these rascals at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
4. We saw Blank and Bow (from Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story) come to life as real Vinylmation that can be purchased.
5. One word: Waffle-inator.
6. The costumes in the costume contest were amazing and intricate and mind-blowing.
7. Nick Pitera posed with our Swagon.

9. We stared at these Harrods Disney Princess gowns for a long time.
10. We saw Abraham Lincoln’s head up close and personal.
11. Tony Baxter, legendary Disney Imagineer, learned that he will receive a window on Disneyland’s Main Street.

16. This is the first D23 that involved lots of Star Wars costumes.
