Today was the last day of the D23 Expo. It’s sad to see it go, but at least we can reflect on 23 of our favorite things that happened today:
1. Lucky girls got makeovers at the Disney Princess hair salon.

2. The swagon gave out a lot of buttons.

3. Some of Pixar’s female producers and animators talked about how they inspire each other and how they love seeing more and more girls in animation.

4. We got to see the latest Mickey Mouse cartoon short.

5. This Muppets fan gave Animal a high five.

6. Marty Sklar, Bob Gurr, X Atencio, and Alice Davis shared inside stories about what it was like to actually work with Walt Disney. One sentence summary: Walt Disney pushed them further than they ever thought they could go.

7. Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather posed in the Disney Infinity Cinderella coach.

8. Disney Infinity made lots of exciting announcements in the Disney Interactive arena presentation.

9. They also gave out Sorcerer Mickey figurines that can’t even be purchased until January!

10. We saw a wall of Disneyland brochures for sale in the Collector’s Forum.

11. WALL-E tried to go through a metal detector in the DNA of Innovation Panel.

12. Attendees got excellent advice from Marty Sklar and Bruce Vaughn in the Leading a Legacy panel: “Creating fun has to be fun too. I mean, it’s hard work and you have to be passionate about it. But it’s got to be fun too.” - Marty Sklar

13. We ate this swirly ice cream.

14. The Disney Chamber Orchestra performed Vivaldi’s Four Seasons at the Disney Interactive arena presentation.

15. Fifth Harmony performed. (We might be a bit old for their music, but we couldn’t help but dance a little bit.)

16. We got these Monsters University Vinylmation exclusive to the D23 Expo.

17. Anna and Elsa made snow with the Disney Animated app.

18. The Sanderson Sisters reminded everyone that Hocus Pocus is excellent.

19. Jeph Loeb appeared to host an exclusive screening of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and he wore this shirt:

20. We got a little bit startled by this Haunted Mansion portrait.

21. Jack McBrayer came to promote Wander Over Yonder.

22. Tim Gunn did a Sofia the First reading. (We bet he loves her outfit.)

23. Jack Skellington roamed the floor and we realized it will be weird not to see people in Disney costumes all day tomorrow.

We love you, D23 Expo.
