Monsters University is finally available to add to your Pixar film collection! One of the reasons you should probably watch it immediately are for the amazing bonus features that show all the scary details that went into making the movie.
The library in MU is called Bohol Hall, named after Pixar artist Nelson Bohol who designed it.
Something else you might have missed when you saw Monsters University in theaters is this little almost-Easter egg. Don’s business card lists his address as 1200 Dark Ave., which is pretty similar to Pixar’s address at 1200 Park Ave.
Another interesting tidbit: the address of the OK fraternity house is the same address as director Dan Scanlon’s childhood home.
In the Monsters University bonus features you can also learn what it was like for animators to make these two look 18 years younger. Pretty tough for a character that is essentially a giant eyeball with legs.
You can also see behind-the-scenes clips and unused footage from the film, like this sequence that has Mike and Sulley doing improv in a drama class that didn’t make it into the final cut of Monsters University.
And of course, you’ll be able to watch all the way through the credits to see if this guy ever made it to class.
