It’s been said that everything you need to know in life you learn in kindergarten. We’re more of the mind that everything you need to know in life you learn from your favorite Disney characters. Case in point: Jaq, Gus, and the invaluable lesson of teamwork. From the moment they meet, these two always have each other’s backs. And everyone else’s.
For example, when trying to sneak past the world’s grumpiest cat (he was the original, m’kay?), use the art of the diversion.

This diversion tactic works again later in the movie (with the same grumpy cat who really needs to chill). See…

The best teamwork lesson in Cinderella, though, comes towards the end of the movie. When Cinderella needs it most (read: Lady Tremaine is being really evil), Jaq and Gus show off their ability to be more awesome together than they are apart.
Then they battle the elements (like Lady Tremaine and the hot tea pot).

And then they work together to get Cinderella what she needs to see her Prince Charming again.

They also get an assist from some birds, other mice, and a loyal dog named Bruno. Just further proving that teamwork means being open to inputs from even the unlikeliest sources.

In summation, teamwork is the key to success. Literally.
