Few things are more exciting than a new Disney movie coming out, which makes this a glorious Monday indeed. The trailer for the upcoming sports drama McFarland, USA just premiered, and it’s tugging at our heartstrings in the best way.
The film tells the true story of novice runners from an economically-challenged town who build a cross-country team under the direction of Coach Jim White (Kevin Costner). With Coach White’s guidance, they ultimately bond together to build not only a championship cross-country team, but an enduring legacy. So to recap: Kevin Costner, uplifting sports movie…we’re in.
