Lucasfilm is releasing “Strange Magic” a film based on “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” featuring music from the past six decades, in January 2015! It’s being described as having, “a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps,” and the plot involves “their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion.” Here’s a first look image:
The voice cast includes Alan Cumming, Evan Rachel Wood, Kristin Chenoweth, Maya Rudolph, and Alfred Molina. Color us intrigued. We’re fans of Shakespeare and golden oldies, so count us in! Strange Magic comes to theaters January 23, 2015.
