Listen Up Foodies: Food and Wine Festival Returns to Disney California Adventure This April
Disney California Adventure has always been something of a mecca for foodies, what with the luxury dining of Carthay Circle, the incredible pasta of Wine Country Trattoria, and equally tasty Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill and Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta. And food enthusiasts will have even more to love at Disney California Adventure in April, when the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returns, taking over weekends for the entire month. Is your mouth watering already? Ours is.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will feature new Festival Marketplaces, where “guests can sip and savor delicious flavors from throughout the state of California.” Additionally, the Food & Wine Festival will also feature “culinary demonstrations, appearances by celebrity chefs, and informative seminars.” More information will soon be available, and we’ll be sure to share. But please pencil in “eating lots and lots of yummy things” for April.
While Disney California Food & Wine Festival was a staple early on in the life of Disney California Adventure it was suspended after five years, during the massive overhaul that saw the addition of such now-classic experiences as Cars Land and the aforementioned Carthay Circle Restaurant. (The Epcot Food & Wine Festival just celebrated its twentieth anniversary in Florida.)
