- Monday’s are not usually the greatest. The weekend is over, Friday is far away. It can be a struggle. But today we were gifted with happiness when Dwayne Johnson gave the world a brand new Moana poster, and announced that a new trailer is coming this Thursday, September 15! Yes. Yes to this. Here’s the post:
Johnson voices Maui, a demigod, in the highly-anticipated film about a girl who ventures off her island home to try and help her people. Johnson’s caption says, “Here’s your very first look at the official poster for #MOANA! Today also kicks off something special that we’re calling #MOANAMondays — From now until our Thanksgiving weekend release, myself, the cast and Disney will be serving up amazingly cool looks at the film, taking you deeper into how it was made, and what you can expect from our story and characters. And most importantly, THE MUSIC. Stay tuned because I have even MORE coming your way this week, including the worldwide premiere of the trailer on @GoodMorningAmerica this Thursday. #MOANA
Here are some thoughts about the poster:
- We are obsessed with Pua.
- Moana rockin’ that stance.
- But wait, we’re not done freaking out over how adorable Pua is.
- We’re also very interested in Hei Hei. What’s his story?
- Maui = cool.
Moana opens in theaters November 23.
