Be Our Guest and Watch This Enchanting Beauty and the Beast Recording Session

This November (22 to be exact) marks the 25th anniversary of the animated classic, Beauty and the Beast. It’s hard to believe that Belle, Beast, Mrs. Potts, and all of the songs we still sing to this very day, all entered the world of Disney two and a half decades ago. With the special 25th Anniversary Edition of the film releasing next week, on September 20, several of the special features that will be on it have been released online. The latest shows exciting behind-the-scenes footage of the original recording sessions.

Watching the video really takes us back to times when we’d watch the movie on repeat (yesterday). It’s fun to see the actors immersing themselves in portraying their respective characters. The video showcased the voice acting talents of Paige O’Hara (Belle), Bradley Pierce (Chip), David Ogden Stiers (Cogsworth), Jerry Orbach (Lumiere), and Angela Lansbury (Mrs. Potts)– who sings her memorable lines from “Be Our Guest” in the feature.

Reminiscing about how magical the animated movie was (and still is), is wonderful, especially with the live-action reimagining, featuring Emma Watson (Belle), and Dan Stevens (Beast), set to release on March 17, 2017.
