In honor of Olympian Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy dancing to the original DuckTales theme song tonight on Dancing With The Stars, we’re excited to reveal the new logo for Disney’s DuckTales, premiering in 2017 on Disney XD. Woo-oo!
The logo is a thrilling throwback, not only to the original Emmy-winning animated series (which ran for 100 outstanding episodes starting in 1987 and was a hallmark of the Disney Afternoon programming block) but also to the original source material (the highly influential comic books of Carl Barks). It’s a logo that promises mystery, adventure, and fun.
It seemed impossible that the excitement about the all-new DuckTales series, which will once again follow Scrooge McDuck, his grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, and Donald Duck, could get any greater. But then this logo appeared.
