Oh, snap! We just had a vision. Remember That’s So Raven, Disney Channel’s series about a teenager (Raven-Symoné) with the ability to see into the future? Of course you do, because it was amazing! According to what we just saw, a spin-off is on the way. We definitely didn’t see that one coming—and are already totally pumped for the show. Keep reading for everything Disney Channel just confirmed.
Scott Thomas and Jed Elinoff, creators of Disney Channel’s Best Friends Whenever, are helming the project alongside Raven-Symoné, who will executive produce and reprise her role as Raven Baxter. When the pilot episode picks back up on Raven’s story, we learn that she is now a divorced mother of two pre-teen kids, one of whom has inherited her psychic abilities.
Adam Bonnett, executive vice president, original programming at Disney Channels Worldwide said, “Raven’s brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel’s success around the world. Her performance in That’s So Raven is timeless. We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we’re looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family.”
As of right now, we don’t know who will be joining Raven on the show, but we can’t wait to find out.
