Guardians of the Galaxy fans, get ready! Earlier this year we were treated to a look at the new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 poster, which had us unbelievably excited to see more. Today, we finally got a further look into the highly anticipated movie with an action-packed teaser trailer. Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Drax, and (Baby) Groot are back! Take a look:
The trailer starts with the dialogue: “The fate of the universe lies on your shoulders.” Epic! Then we see a hilarious scene between Rocket and Baby Groot. We love how they communicate and it’s so good to hear “I am Groot” once again! Then we see some epic actions shots and reintroductions of the amazing Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Baby Groot. We see Baby Groot demonstrate some serious battle skills in an adorable way. Lastly, a mind reader reveals that Star-Lord loves Gamora (in front of Gamora) and Drax laughs and points at Star-Lord in the best way. This is the hilarious banter that we know and love from the Guardians of the Galaxy crew!
Here are five more of the many thoughts that ran through our head while watching this amazing teaser trailer:
1. Star-Lord is amazing.
Obviously. Star-Lord is so genuine, so cool, and has amazing taste in music. We want to be BFFs with him. We also really want to see if Star-Lord can win the heart of Gamora. Speaking of…
2. Gamora is goals.
Yet another character we would love to be BFFs with. Actually, we want to be a part of the entire Guardians of the Galaxy squad. They are the best!
3. Drax is as funny as ever.
There is nothing like a good Drax joke! We especially love where he teases Star-Lord. So good.
4. The music has us pumped.
Got to love that ’80s music soundtrack! We have been watching this teaser trailer on repeat and dancing along.
5. Baby Groot is so cute!!!
We literally clapped every time he talked. We need to have Baby Groot in our lives every single day. Baby Groot forever!
We absolutely cannot wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in May 2017!
