As if Christmas has extended an extra day, we woke up this morning to a gift: The first final frame from Pixar Animation Studios’ upcoming film, Coco. The highly-anticipated film chronicles the journey of Miguel who dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like the celebrated Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). But when he strums his idol’s guitar, he sets off a mysterious chain of events.
The gorgeous frame is giving us chills; we love the bright orange flower petals juxtaposed against the darker tones of the room. And Miguel is super cute. Also, what an awesome guitar.
Directed by Lee Unkrich, co-directed by Adrian Molina and produced by Darla K. Anderson, Coco opens in theaters Nov. 22, 2017.
