The 21st season of The Bachelor has started, and Nick Viall is looking for love … again! But this time he won’t be accepting the roses—he’ll be giving them out. The question is … to whom? If you think you can predict who will be offered a rose and who’ll be sent packing, play in our The Bachelor Fantasy League! As you make predictions each week, we’ll be tracking how well the contestants are faring on their ultimate quest to be offered the final rose and, hopefully, an engagement ring. Check in to see how your favorite contestants are doing and to reflect on the most romantic, hilarious, dramatic, and cringe-worthy moments that are sure to come!
Our Final 4
We dubbed her “The Alpha,” which turned out to be an appropriate title since she took charge and led the pack when it came to kissing Nick.
Affectionately designated by us as “The Old Soul,” this smart young woman was wise enough to recover from a not-so-smart introduction.
Funny that we named her “The Dark Horse” since we still don’t know much about her, but we still predict she’ll make it ‘til the end … with or without her sneakers on.
We called her “The Right One,” and we still think we’re right.
Overall, our picks did great! They all received roses, and both Corinne and Vanessa emerged as top contenders.
Most Successful Connections
These women seemed to make the most positive impact on Nick so far.
Rachel, 31, Attorney, Dallas, TX
This confident attorney won the First Impression Rose, and we can see why. Nick seemed drawn to her right away, and together they seemed to have a relaxed and natural connection. Nick said he was taken by her aura. This relationship is off to a strong start!
Vanessa, 29, Special Education Teacher, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
After Vanessa’s entrance, Nick declared, “That’s a keeper.” With an incredible dress and impressive French(and Italian!) language skills, this Canadian made a smashing first impression. She and Nick might have kissed if Corinne hadn’t interrupted their time together.
Corinne, 24, Business Owner, Miami, FL
Corinne knows what she wants, and she wants Nick. She boldly was the first woman to kiss him. Will her bold actions get her far on the show? It’s likely. But will she end up being this season’s Olivia?
Danielle L., 27, Small Business Owner, Los Angeles, CA
Danielle caught Nick’s attention from the start. With a sparkly smile, perfect hair, and presumably flawless nails (she’s a nail salon owner, after all), we expect Danielle to be a serious contender.
Most Memorable Contestants
In a group of 30 women, it can be difficult to stand out. For better or for worse, these women did:
Alexis, 23, Aspiring Dolphin Trainer, Secaucus, NJ
Alexis definitely made an impression on Nick. A dolphin impression, that is. Or was she a shark? Yes, she most definitely was a shark. Her costume certainly revealed her fun personality. If she continues to make Nick (and everyone) smile, Dolphin-Shark Girl could do well in this competition.
Lacey, 25, Digital Marketing Manager, Manhattan, NY
She arrived on a camel! With such a memorable entrance, Lacey secured a rose and surely a spot on every future Bachelor limo entrance montage ever. If Lacey’s dates with Nick are as memorable as her arrival, then she’ll be unforgettable.
Raven, 25, Fashion Boutique Owner, Hoxie, AR
Hailing from a small town in Arkansas, Raven’s southern drawl seemed to charm Nick.
Hailey, 23, Photographer, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
We didn’t learn much about Hailey, but her introduction stood out. We’re sure we’ll learn more about her in future episodes.
Josephine, 24, Registered Nurse, Santa Cruz, CA
Josephine appears to be a fun and lively contestant with some truly animated facial expressions. Perhaps this cat-loving nurse could end up being the winner.
Jasmine G., 29, Pro Basketball Dancer, San Francisco, CA
During her limo entrance, Jasmine surprised everyone with an appearance by Neil Lane. Neil Lane! As far as a wedding ring goes, she knows exactly what she wants. And now Nick (and America) does, too. Emerald cut, size 5. We got it. But will she get it? We’ll see!
Jaimi, 28, Chef, New Orleans, LA
Jaimi introduced herself by showing off her silver nose ring. Nick seemed to dig it. Will he continue to dig her personality, though?
Astrid, 26, Plastic Surgery Office Manager, Tampa, FL
When she spoke in German, Nick may not have understood what Astrid said, but he was certainly impressed.
Elizabeth (“Liz”), 29, Doula, Las Vegas, NV
Perhaps Liz is the most memorable contestant to Nick because, well, she already met him! They were first introduced at Jade and Tanner’s wedding, on Bachelor in Paradise, Season 2. But what seemed like an advantage at the start of the episode became more of a disadvantage once we learned that she had refused to give Nick her number and failed to reach out to him for nine months. So is she really interested in Nick? Their past is sure to bring drama to the future!
Least Memorable Contestants
We don’t know much about these women yet, but we look forward to learning more about them next week.
Brittany, 26, Travel Nurse, Santa Monica, CA
As she said herself, she was another woman in a red dress. It’s hard to stand out when you’re wearing the same color as almost everyone else. Let’s hope she makes an impression next time.
Kristina, 24, Dental Hygienist, Lexington, KY
Kristina knew she didn’t make a strong impression. She was worried (and teary) about getting a rose. Hopefully next time there’ll be no need for tears … unless they’re tears of joy.
Elizabeth, 24, Marketing Manager, Dallas, TX
Elizabeth looked lovely in white, but we don’t know much about her yet.
Whitney, 25, Pilates Instructor, Chanhassen, MN
Whitney’s connection with Nick is still a mystery, but we look forward to seeing more of her!
