We may be in the heart of winter, but spring has sprung early at the Walt Disney World Resort, and we couldn’t be happier about it. If you’re getting tired of the cold, fear not, because these amazing events coming to Epcot, the Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon are sure to warm you up and get your mind in the spring spirit.
Here are 5 of the attractions and shows you can see at Walt Disney World during #DisneyEarlySpring:
1. Epcot International Festival of the Arts
When: Beginning January 13
This is a brand new festival and it sounds absolutely amazing. Combining visual, culinary, and performing arts, the Epcot International Festival of the Arts will feature new art and beautiful food creations every week. It will also showcase Broadway talent from Disney on Broadway including The Lion King, Newsies, Aladdin, and more. Sign us up for all of the above!
2. “Once Upon a Time” at the Magic Kingdom
This magical projection show on Cinderella Castle began last year, and will continue throughout the Disney Early Spring season. “Once Upon a Time” gives us a front row look as Mrs. Potts tells bedtime stories to Chip—stories that come to life on the Cinderella Castle walls in a magnificent way. It’s truly a sight to see.
3. Disney After Hours
When: Beginning January 20
Disney After Hours is a ticketed event where guests can have time in the Park with little to no wait at 25 attractions and experiences. Dates are January 20, 27, February 2, 9, and 16, and March 2 and 9. Don’t mind if we do!
4. Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
When: Beginning March 1
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is a truly beautiful sight to behold. New this year will be a topiary garden inspired by a vintage Walt Disney short film, as well as the Garden Rocks Dining Packages. It’s sure to be a gorgeous and fun-filled festival.
5. Miss Adventure Falls at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon
It wouldn’t be Disney Early Spring without an amazing water park adventure in the brand new Miss Adventure Falls. This is a family-style raft attraction that follows Captain Mary Oceaneer on a treasure hunt, and it sounds like so much fun! We’ll be stepping aboard a raft on Miss Adventure Falls ASAP.
It’s clearing going to be an amazing #DisneyEarlySpring at Walt Disney World. What are you most looking forward to? Tell us in the comments!
