Thor and Darryl Are Back in Yet Another Hilarious Bonus Feature

One of our favorite moments in 2016 was when we were treated to some insight into what Thor was up to while Cap and Iron Man were battling it out during Captain America: Civil War, in an amazing bonus feature on the Digital HD release of the movie. The video bonus centered around Thor and his newly found roommate Darryl, a regular guy with a lot of patience. We watched as Thor went about daily activities, like visiting Darryl at work. Darryl helped Thor type up emails to Tony Stark (a.k.a. Iron Man) and Steve Rogers (aka Captain America). We also saw Thor’s room, complete with a specialized “Keep out Darryl” sign and a tiny bed for Mjölnir, Thor’s mighty hammer. Perhaps the best part of  Thor’s room was the chart he created to understand the universe around him, including questions about Infinity Stones, Nick Fury, and Thanos (or as he describes him, the “purple man.”) Later in the video, Thor had coffee with Bruce Banner (aka Hulk) and told Tony Stark to contact him via raven. The whole thing is, and we’re not exaggerating here, literally the best thing ever.

In the end, Thor felt a little left out when Tony and Steve were so busy, so he decided to start Team Thor, which consists of Thor … and Darryl. We’ve been obsessed with Team Thor ever since. At long last, the saga of Thor and Darryl continues in Part 2 of this epic friendship. Take a look:

Leave it to Thor to try and pay rent with a pumpkin and Asgardian coins. Darryl suggests that Thor get a job and Thor says, “I have a job. Do you know what my job is? I save the planet.” We can’t argue with that. Another of our favorite quotes: “I am covered in brains and I have more brains than you.” Again, Thor’s logic is sound. Also, can we talk about Thor’s amazing outfit, swim trunks and a long vest? Amazing. It’s not easy being Thor’s roommate, but we envy Darryl. If Team Thor is looking for another member, count us in.
