Take a Look Inside the Creation of the Ballroom for Beauty and the Beast

If you’ve seen the latest trailer and sneak peeks at the upcoming live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast, you can probably tell that the world of the film is going to be absolutely gorgeous. We seriously cannot get enough of it. Luckily, Entertainment Weekly has given us a deeper look into how the famous ballroom in Beast’s castle was created, with the help of casting director Lucy Bevan, set decorator Katie Spencer, costume designer Jacqueline Durran, makeup and hair designer Jenny Shircore, film editor Virginia Katz, and production designer Sarah Greenwood. Gaze at these enchanting photos:

The Ballroom Floor Design

This is an amazing overview of how the ballroom was designed. Can this please be the floor plan for our house?

The Hallway Staircase

The statue at the bottom of the staircase is truly beautiful and intricate. Can you imagine walking up these stairs every day? #Goals

The Grand Ballroom

Literally imagining ourselves in this scene right now. It’s gorgeous!

The Post-Curse Ballroom

It’s still so beautiful, but time has passed and serious history has happened. This image and the design are a perfect representation of the tale as old as time, in our humble opinion!

The Ballroom Floor

Pure elegance! We would love to be able to dance around this floor (with the cast of Beauty and the Beast, of course.)
