Meet the Complete Cast and Crew of Broadway’s Frozen

Our hearts have already melted over the heartwarming news that Frozen is coming to Broadway in the spring of 2018, and we felt like love was an open Broadway door when casting was announced for the production’s lead characters, including Elsa (Caissie Levy), Anna (Patti Murin), Kristoff (Jelani Alladin), Hans (John Riddle), Olaf (Greg Hildreth), and the Duke of Weselton (Robert Creighton). And today we’re feeling a flurry of excitement because the casting for Frozen is now complete! Let’s meet the rest of the cast:

Kevin Del Aguila is playing Oaken

Hoo-hoo! We can’t wait to see Kevin as Oaken on stage! Kevin voiced a Troll in the original Frozen movie, and he played Smee in Peter and the Starcatcher on Broadway. Among other acting credits, he’s also an Emmy Award-winning writer and book writer.

Timothy Hughes is playing Pabbie

Timothy was previously on Broadway in Chaplin, and we can’t wait to see him play this wise, healing troll!

Andrew Pirozzi is playing Sven

This is Andrew’s Broadway debut! How exciting! We can’t wait to see him play this adorable, expressive, and carrot-loving reindeer.

Audrey Bennett and Mattea Conforti are playing Young Anna

Mattea (pictured left) was previously on Broadway in Sunday in the Park with George and as Matilda in Matilda The Musical. Audrey (pictured right) was previously on Broadway as Young Amélie in Amélie. Soon we’ll see these talented youngsters singing “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” while talking to portraits and biking through the halls as the lovably awkward young princess!

Brooklyn Nelson and Ayla Schwartz are playing Young Elsa

Ayla (pictured left) is making her Broadway debut, and Brooklyn (pictured right) appeared in Broadway’s Matilda and was in the workshop production for the musical of Frozen. We can’t wait to see them take the stage as Young Elsa!

Alyssa Fox is the Elsa Standby

Alyssa was the Elphaba standby in Broadway’s Wicked. How wickedly wonderful! We hope to see her let it go on stage as Elsa.

Aisha Jackson is the Anna Standby

Aisha appeared in Broadway’s Waitress and Beautiful The Carole King Musical. We’re sure she’ll make an excellent Anna!

With a total cast of 40 coming to the St. James Theater, these talented actors will also be part of the magical team: Alicia Albright, Tracee Beazer, Wendi Bergamini, Ashley Blanchet, James Brown III, Claire Camp, Lauren Nicole Chapman, Spencer Clark, Jeremy Davis, Kali Grinder, Ashley Elizabeth Hale, Zach Hess, Donald Jones, Jr., Nina Lafarga, Ross Lekites, Austin Lesch, Synthia Link, Travis Patton, Adam Perry, Jeff Pew, Olivia Phillip, Noah J. Directed by the Tony Award and three-time Olivier Award-winning Michael Grandage and choreographed by Tony Award winner Rob Ashford, the musical Frozen will feature the animated film’s music we know and love written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. We’re so ready to see these epic songs come to life on stage!

The music team will also feature the two-time Tony Award winner Stephen Oremus as music supervisor, who will also create vocal, incidental, and dance arrangements. Dave Metzger will do orchestrations, Chris Montan is the music consultant, and Brian Usifer is the music director.

The musical’s book will be written by Jennifer Lee, the screenwriter and co-director of the animated film.

The musical’s design team is stellar. Tony and Olivier Award winner Christopher Oram heads the scenic and costume design. The lighting design is by six-time Tony Award winner Natasha Katz, who worked on Broadway’s Aladdin. Sound design is headed by four-time Tony Award nominee Peter Hylenski. The musical’s video design is brought to you by Tony Award winner Finn Ross. Michael Curry, who worked on The Lion King, is doing the puppet designs. Hair design is by David Brian Brown and makeup is by Anne Ford-Coates. The special effects design is by Jeremy Chernick, who worked on Aladdin. Wow. What a crew!

Frozen is produced by Disney Theatrical Productions under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, and will first play at the Buell Theatre in the Denver Center for the Performing Arts August 17 through October 1, 2017 before it makes it’s way to Broadway. Broadway previews and opening night dates will be announced in the coming months, so stay tuned, and be sure to check out www.FrozenTheMusical.com for more details on the show, cast, and crew!
