You Need to See This Incredible Video From D23 Expo Honoring Edna E. Mode

Dahlings, we have incredible news coming from D23 Expo regarding the one and only Edna E. Mode. The visionary fashion designer who disapproves of capes (“No capes!”) will be appearing in the upcoming The Incredibles 2, and today from the Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios panel, we celebrated her fashionable talents and legacy as a designer with this this amazing video featuring stars from the fashion world. Take a look:

Artist. Visionary. Meticulous. Iconic. A legend. These powerful words were used to describe Edna, and we couldn’t agree more. With guest appearances by fashion icons Zac Posen, Rachel Zoe, Creative Director of Marie Claire Magazine Nina Garcia, stylist Kate Young, model Kendall Jenner, Executive Producer of Project Runway Heidi Klum, model Winnah Agwabi, former Vogue Editor at Large Andre Leon Talley, and more, this video is just as fabulous as Edna is. Let’s review what some of these fashion industry insiders had to say:

Zac Posen:

“Obviously.” As in obviously we should honor Edna. Because she’s amazing.

Winnah Agwabi:

“I am very excited to see the shows of Chanel and Dior, but of course Edna Mode is the most important for me.” This statement from Paris Couture Week 2017 says it all. Edna’s fashion collection is everything.

Rachel Zoe:

“She’s a visionary.” Truth.

Nina Garcia:

“She’s very intimidating.” If Nina Garcia, a judge on Project Runway, thinks that Edna Mode is intimidating with her talent and her honesty, then she truly is.

Kate Young:

“No capes!” Agreed. Kate Young also compared Edna alongside Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga. Fab.

Kendall Jenner:

“She’s a visionary. A giant. I mean, well, not literally. She comes up to my knees.” If there is one thing Edna is not, she’s not tall. We all have our shortcomings, dahling.

Heidi Klum:

“Edna hates capes…so we all hate capes.” No truer words have ever been spoken.

Cheers to you Edna! We can’t wait to see you in The Incredibles 2, and we promise not to wear any capes.
