Black Panther

The story will take place right after T’Challa aka Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, returns to Wakanda to take his place as King after the death of his father. Soon a powerful old enemy appears and T’Challa must rally his allies to save the fate of his nation. We are so ready to journey to Wakanda when Marvel’s Black Panther comes to theaters.

A Wrinkle in Time

We literally got goosebumps watching the teaser trailer of A Wrinkle in Time. Based on the book by Madeleine L’Engle, the film is directed by Ava DuVernay and stars a phenomenal cast including Oprah Winfrey (who was honored as a Disney Legend last year), Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, and Storm Reid! At D23 Expo last year we saw this beautiful concept art! And did you watch fashion stars Heidi Klum, Kendall Jenner, and more honor the incomparable Edna E. Mode? The fashion icon will be returning in the sequel, directed by Brad Bird, who also voices Edna. We already know this movie is going to be incredible. We also know that in it, a new villain will be hatching a brilliant and dangerous plot, and the Incredibles family will need to team up with Frozone to deal with it. Check out the latest trailer here.

Production began last year on this film, starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, and it’s sure to be epic! What we know so far: The film will take place in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War as Scott Lang aka Ant-Man grapples with the consequences of being a super hero and a father. While he’s dealing with this, Hope van Dyne aka the Wasp will approach him with a new mission. Can’t wait to see what it is!

We learned some incredible Aladdin casting news at D23 Expo last year! Will Smith will be playing the Genie, Mena Massoud will be playing Aladdin, and Naomi Scott will be playing Jasmine! The Aladdin cast also includes: Marwan Kenzari  as Jafar, Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Princess Jasmine’s handmaiden and confidante, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, a suitor from Skanland and potential husband for Princess Jasmine, and Numan Acar as Hakim, Jafar’s right-hand man and head of the palace guards. After seeing a clip of the “Circle of Life” scene at D23 Expo last year, we could not be more excited to see this film. It is directed by Jon Favreau, and features an amazing cast including Donald Glover, James Earl Jones, Beyoncé, and more. We are all in for an epic experience when this reimagining of The Lion King comes to theaters. See the full cast list here.
