Everything Happening at Walt Disney World During the Holidays

There’s no place like Walt Disney World for the holidays! Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Epcot are gearing up for the holidays with the biggest celebrations of the season, and we’re all invited. Mark your calendar because you’re in for a wild (sleigh) ride with these festivities:

Magic Kingdom

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Here’s everything happening at this fun holiday party:

A Frozen Holiday Wish

Fulfill your dreams of a white Christmas at Magic Kingdom Park, where snow falls over the heart of Main Street and the royal sisters from Frozen transform Cinderella Castle into a shimmering ice palace with Queen Elsa’s magical powers.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

Mickey and his pals (including Santa!) will make sure you feel warm and fuzzy, entertaining their guests with a festive live show, “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade,” character meet-and-greets, photo ops, and complimentary hot cocoa and cookies.

And of course, the night is not complete without holiday tunes accompanying a special fireworks show called “Holiday Wishes Fireworks—Celebrate the Spirit of the Season.” You can even enjoy some sweet treats at the “Fireworks Holiday Dessert Party” at Tomorrowland Terrace!

Mickey sure knows how to throw a party, so don’t miss out! Reserve a ticket for this after-hours spectacular held on the following nights from 7 p.m. to midnight: November 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26, and 28; and December 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, and 22.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Sunset Seasons Greetings

Disney is taking over Sunset Boulevard and turning it into an enchanted winter wonderland. “Sunset Seasons Greetings” is an all-new celebration with stunning decor and characters galore, taking place from November 9 through December 31, 2017. The magic begins as night falls over Disney’s Hollywood Studios, when billboards suddenly start glowing and the Hollywood Tower Hotel transforms to unfold scenes telling tales of iconic characters – including Mickey and Minnie, Toy Story characters, the Swedish Chef from The Muppets, and last but not least, Olaf—as they rejoice during the holiday season. Dancing Aurora Borealis lights and projected falling snow add a magnificent touch, ending the night—and the year —on an unforgettable note.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!

This amazing show combines state-of-the-art projections, fireworks, special effects, and Christmas music to dazzle us all—plus it will include a special message from Santa himself.

Echo Lake

This area will be getting more holiday decor, and our favorite Dinosaur will be dressed for the occasion with a dino-Santa hat! Adorbs.

Epcot International Festival of the Holidays

Previously known as “Holidays Around the World,” this celebration kicks off with a Candlelight Processional, which features a Christmas story told by a celebrity narrator (with a lineup including Matt Bomer, Neil Patrick Harris, and Whoopi Goldberg) and music from a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir. Reserve your candlelight dinner package so you don’t miss out!

Holiday Music Throughout World Showcase

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. During the World Showcase, guests can get a jolly glimpse into each pavilion as they each share joyful music and time-honored traditions.

Holiday Kitchens

With a total of 15 Holiday Kitchens this year, Epcot will keep you full of sweet seasonal treats and holiday spirit.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth

The grand fireworks show “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” will feature a special holiday finale that will make it hard to part ways with Epcot.

Looks like the only worries this holiday season will be how to divide your time amongst the Walt Disney World festivities!
