Once Upon a Time Season 7 Character Portraits Are Here and the Anticipation Is Real

The seventh season of Once Upon a Time is lurking around the corner, and we’ve never been more ready to embark on our first adventure to Hyperion Heights. Today, E! News gifted us with character portraits of the new and returning characters and they are a gratifying glimpse into our fave fairy tale with a twist. We recently learned from creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis that this new season will take us to an entirely new enchanted land, with new versions of our favorite characters. We’ve finally just finished processing how a grown-up Henry has a young girl named Lucy as a daughter, but we’re freaking out again about it right now. Of course, our favorite trio (Lana Parrilla’s Evil Queen, Robert Carlyle’s Rumplestiltskin, and Colin O’Donoghue’s Hook in all his guyliner glory) is returning along with the seven new characters. Take a deep breath and see for yourself:

Henry Mills (Andrew J. West)

Apparently what comes with growing up for Henry is loss of memory (about his magical past) … and a job as an Uber driver.

Drizella (Adelaide Kane)

Kane makes for the perfect evil stepsister of Cinderella, also known as Ivy in the Hyperion Heights-set real world.

Hook (Colin O’Donoghue)

Officer Rogers reporting for duty. You heard us, Hook’s a cop who goes by Rogers in the new Hyperion Heights neighborhood.

Cinderella (Dania Ramirez)

Known as Jacinda in Hyperion Heights, she’s Cinderella as you’ve never seen before.

Lucy (Alison Fernandez)

Déjà vu much? Lucy is following in her father’s footsteps, reminding Henry that magic exists and that he’s her father.

Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle)

We don’t know too much about Rumple’s new identity in Hyperion Heights. All we know is Mr. Gold rocking denim jeans will take some getting used to.

Lady Tremaine (Gabrielle Anwar)

Make way for Once Upon a Time’s fierce new villain: Cinderella’s evil stepmother, also known as Victoria Belfrey in Hyperion Heights. Looks like the Evil Queen’s got some competition.

Regina (Lana Parrilla)

Speaking of the Evil Queen, take a look at her in her new Hyperion Heights throne—as a barkeep named Roni.

Tiana (Mekia Cox)

Introducing The Princess and the Frog character, who gets her origin story as Sabine in Hyperion Heights. We’re antsy to see what she’ll bring as a new series regular.

Alice (Rose Reynolds)

Alice (or possibly named Tilly?) is going to have to get used to a new Wonderland, and it’s called Hyperion Heights.

Henry, Cinderella, and Lucy

We’re trying to decide if this picture captures “happily ever after” vibes, but guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Once Upon a Time returns for Season 7 on Friday, October 6 at 8 p.m. on ABC. We’ve already marked our calendars, have you?
